The forehead applicator is one of the standard pair of applicators, with the cheek applicators, and it is the one that lifts the brow. Synchronised radiofrequency warms the skin of the forehead to the temperature at which it lays down new collagen, and HIFES contracts the frontalis, the muscle that raises the brow, so it sits higher at rest. What it does on the forehead
Lines across the forehead soften as the skin thickens with collagen, and the brow lifts as the frontalis tones. It is the opposite of a muscle-relaxing injection, which lowers the brow's movement. EMface builds the muscle that holds the brow up, so in our practice the two are sometimes planned together and the clinician says in what order. A heavy, dropped brow is more than EMface lifts, and the clinician says so at the free consultation.

The session and the course
Nothing goes through the skin: the forehead pad is placed, the applicator runs for 20 minutes, the skin is a little pink for ten to twenty minutes and you go straight back to work. Four sessions about a week apart, on its own or with the cheeks in the same visit. The main result shows six to twelve weeks after the last session, with the after photograph at three months, and it holds for around twelve months for most people in our experience. One session every three to six months keeps it.
